225 g of flour
1 packet of baking powder
3 tablespoons of crushed almonds
125 g candied cherries
125 g butter, softened
125 g powdered sugar
3 beaten eggs
50 g candied cherries for decoration
Preparation
Preheat the oven (thermostat 6 to 180°C).
Butter an 18 cm round pan and line the bottom with buttered parchment paper.
In a small bowl, carefully mix the flour and yeast. Using a wooden spoon, stir in the crushed almonds and candied cherries.
In a large bowl, work the softened butter and sugar into a light foam. Gradually add the beaten eggs and stir in the contents of the small bowl.
Pour into the pan and bake for about 50 minutes.
Turn out and decorate with the remaining candied cherries.
